If you ask anyone what food I absolutely love most likely they would scream ICE CREAM. They wouldn't be wrong I do in fact love ice cream. I also love travelling and trying ice cream at different places and here are just a few scoops.
The Sundae Saloon - Estes Park, Colorado
Their ice cream scoop was square...why? I don't know. I'm having a Rocky Road single scoop and it was wonderful. I tried them back when we went to Rocky Mountain National Park in July 2023. The Saloon is western themed and some seats are actual saddles.
The Shack - Sanibel Island, Florida
This was a new resturant when Michael and I visited Sanibel back in March 2022. There is a fresh flavor every day! We sat on the wrap-around porch looking out at their garden listening to island music. The best way to relax on a hot day of biking the island.
Fratelli's Bistro - Gallup, New Mexico
This was a stop on our way home from our Arizona trip in November 2021. We stopped because Michael used to work here making the gelato. This is the reason we got an ice cream/gelato maker from his sister for a wedding present. It is probably one of the most used gifts following the Instant Pot and Wine Cabinet (Thanks GUK!).
Jordan Pond House Resturant - Acadia National Park, Maine
After hiking around Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park we stopped at the resturant at the end of the trail, which is famous for Popovers. After our lunch Michael and I enjoyed a cold treat. A lot of ice cream in Maine is blueberry flavored because Maine is one of the largest blueberry producers in the world!
Ehrler's Ice Cream - Louisville, Kentucky
After actually visiting some Distilleries for once, we stopped by and got ice cream at Ehrler's. I got a Bourbon Pecan Fudge ice cream, cause we are on the bourbon trail obviously.
